Outwrk.Ai ("Outwrk," "we," "us") provides an AI assistant that answers calls and text messages, books appointments, and follows up with leads on behalf of home service businesses ("Clients"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, to Outwrk's own demo line, and to calls and texts we handle for our Clients.
Information we collect
- From people who contact a Client through Outwrk: your phone number, the content of your calls and text messages, and details you choose to share, such as your name, email, service address, the work you need, and appointment times.
- From our Clients: business contact details, business hours, services, and, when a Client chooses to connect them, records from the Client's calendar or customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- From this website: information you send us by email or text, and basic technical information our hosting provider records when you visit (such as IP address and browser type).
How we use information
- To reply to your calls and texts on behalf of the business you contacted, answer your questions, and book, confirm, remind you of, reschedule, or cancel appointments.
- To alert the business about your request, including urgent situations.
- To send follow-up messages and, after a completed job, a review request from the business, where permitted.
- To keep records of consent and opt-outs, prevent spam and abuse, and improve the accuracy of our service.
- To respond to inquiries about Outwrk and provide our services to Clients.
Text messaging (SMS)
When you text a business that uses Outwrk, or agree to receive texts from it, we use your phone number and messages only to communicate with you about your request and appointments on that business's behalf. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver messages, as described below.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as follows:
- With the business you contacted, so it can serve you. That business may also keep the information in its own systems under its own privacy policy.
- With service providers that operate our service on our behalf, such as our phone and text messaging provider, the AI model provider that helps write replies, calendar and CRM providers a Client connects, and our hosting provider. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, Clients, or others.
How long we keep information
We keep conversation and lead records for as long as the Client uses Outwrk and as needed to provide the service, keep consent and opt-out records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Clients may ask us to delete their customers' data when they stop using Outwrk.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Reply START to opt back in.
- To request access to or deletion of your information, email us at jtd5142@gmail.com. Because we act on behalf of the business you contacted, we may forward your request to that business.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
